shizz...there are some angry people on that message board...
I've had no major problems on my 1993 190E...although our 1995 S320 hasn't been nearly as friendly as my 190E (hooray for old-school!) :) :D

i had some problems with my car when i bought it...but i should have known that buying a used car u have to be prepared to spend some money to bring it back to mint condition...i spent about $2300 the first 4 months on the car...i was just about to give it up..i dont know what made me keep it...now that i did i am very glad, and fortunate..

Hell, my 94 E420 (W124) 74,000 miles and has had over $10,000.00 year-to-date of repairs/maint. (not including mods) Thank god I purchased the 48/48K extended warranty! You don't hear me b1tch1n!

Typical luxury car owners. Note that most of those complains are posted by middle-age to baby boomer age range. We've had these kind of people coming into the shop daily. You won't believe what kind of complains they have.
Nonetheless... a wise chinese man once said... "more complains = better job security" lol.. ok that was my tech instructor.

maybe he should fix himself, then he wouldn't have to fix the car :P
Mercedes are great (for the most part) but when they break, its time to shell out the $$$
