:ph34r: yeah so last nite i was at a stoplight and this w210 E320 wit some bling bling rims pulls up next to me.....green light we both hit it

i dropped my clutch at like 5k rpm (burns the fcuk outta it) ESP all blinking.....i got a 1/2 CL jump, by 2nd gear i was 1+CL ahead by the end of 3rd gear i was about 2 CL ahead

we shut down at about 80ish and i was at about 2.5CL ahead

NICE.....that new ECS wastegate by-pass regulator valve is working GREAT HAHAHA :D

Nice Kill Phil. Finally, a car that goes vroom. One thing though....I can smell your clutch from over here. Is that really necessary?

you are right LOL the thing is that i am still trying to 'learn' how to get a good launch in this car WITHOUT burining the clutch or not charge up enuff

esp since i just got the new wastegate by-pass regulator valve the boost comes lot smoother and stronger

the TT is 5v meaning 5 VALVE per cyclinder not 5 cyclinders

its still a 4 banger but 20valves total

hey Vodka its pretty easy to launch the 1.8T once you get used to it. only problem you got going is the all wheel drive. so you have to ease into more than you would with a RWD or even FWD car. really if/when i race i usually let first gear go as i normally would but hold a little longer, then once in second gear i stomp it and thats where it pulls on almost anyone. test out second and third gear and see how they treat you. just don't go too easy in first, otherwise you do get left behind. but my best advice is launch so you're going, then once in second, go all out, continue in third, go to fourth. never let the RPMs go beyond 5500 cause the power will drop off (even when chipped).

yeah I burt up the clutch and flywheel (pretty hard to do) in the SER and it was a total of 650 to fix... ouch.
