So here is the scenario guys:

June 28, 2003

Probably the first indoor Import Car show in Jacksonville is coming. It is called Import Invasion, and it is in our big convention center. I have entered, and so has Honson (BenzoAMGPower) with his ML55. I have probably 1 or 2 more other friends with Mercedes that would be interested in entering the show along with us. I want to make some sort of display for us Benzes!!!! Nothing RICEY like cotton in the fenders, but definetely something cool. I was thinking of going to target and getting 2 or 3 fog machines and hiding them somewhere, so basically every 2 minutes or something, it turns into pure fog around our cars.... I also want to figure a way to rope off our cars and make it look WILD, BUT classy. Any ideas????

Lastly, where could I temporarily sticker my car up? I was thinking of having a row under my driver and passenger mirrors of some sponsors??? Any other Ideas, at the last big show I went to I put them on my hood, but I didnt really dig that too much.

Strobes attracts attention but i don't think you need that,Your car is hot enough to get attention.

I'm not into the whole show car thing and I don't know if this has been done before...

If you could find a bone stock 500E and park it beside your car...a 'before' and 'after' kinda thing would be neat.

Also, redline, could you PS Some generic stickers underneath my mirror so I could see somewhat what it would look like?

Park your car on a huge diamond cut sheet and use bright white lights on the sides and wheels of the car?

Fog is kinda annoying after a while and smells funky too.

I would say just go straight up and perhaps build a huge mercedes star or something :)

I think all that show stuff like strobe lights and crap like that are goofy. Just rope it off and let the car speak for itself.

Oh, by the way, run the sponser stickers along the very bottom of the side skirts. That would look best.

hmm

get a rotating platform with a partition. On one side, a stock 500e, on the other, the modded Renntech. When it's time to do the transition, fog it up, then switch :hmmm:

get an auto rotisserie ( Roto 2000 auto rotisserie (http://theroto2000.tripod.com/roto2000/index.html) ) and you can rotate it to any angle. I've personally never seen that done for a show, so it's sure to draw lookers.
