just put in HID's 8000k

i just put in HID kit but the "light" warning light came on in the dashboard how do i get it to go away???

Mine has been saying light defective since I put in my HIDs a year ago:D , never did anything about it haha. Post pics of how 8000K looks.

Interesting... I don't know if you can get that light to go away actually... I know a few who have just simple disabled it. Maybe it's the way you have it wired?

My car audio guy told me to buy some sensor thing from radio shack and the light will go away, perhaps talk to a car audio/electronics guy if it keeps bothering you. But lets see those pics!:D

i called bergweroks and they said that since its a 99 i would have to go to the dealer and have them re-set the system?

Probably have them "tell" the computer that you have HID lamps...

I did it to my 99 c class and it didnt have any problems.. did the light turn on as soon as you installed it... check the wiring
