Shameless plug for my man Sander's shop - The Wheel Supply in Walnut - otherwise known as the SoCal BNZsporters weekend gathering place (W420, Hank, jl88, Henry47, etc., etc.), or the local Indo slipperfest watering hole. Call it what you want, they do good stuff.
Read the full article HERE (http://www.bnzsport.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=5979)
They'll take care of you. But please, don't try to lowball him and give him crap about you being a "BNZsport" member so you should get things at ridiculously low prices, etc. - he'll try to hook you up as best as he can, but like any other shop - they need to make some money to survive.
They'll do things right - the mechanic is one of the premier European car mechanic when it comes to suspension/wheels/tires/brakes, etc. - highly sought after by the likes of Brabus NA, CEC, as well as local dealers. But he chose to hone his craft at a local shop, much to our benefit!!
Check it out when you have time while in SoCal - you'll see a fellow member there guaranteed!! :D

yeah TWS is cool but i still dun understand why did they told me to go with Bilstien <--- (spelling???) instead of KONI yellows.....
well i guess is just a matter of choices........see at first i was having doubts about the KONI's yellows after hearing what they said.....but then after visiting RENNTECH and seeing them putting in KONI yellows in all their cars.....i guess KONI is not that bad....
and myabe this should be in another forum
BUT besides that TWS is indeed a VERY GOOD shop to goto in SoCal :D :P :o

Renntech may put Koni yellows on their cars but the basic fact is that Koni Yellows are like $600+ a set versus $300 for a set of Bilsteins.
And for the non track people, honestly, how many times are you really going to adjust them??

Maybe RENNtech has a contracting license with Koni? Doesn't RENNtech sell thier own line of shocks too?

LOL, enuff clowning for now. Back to subject. TWS knows what they're doing and they are not out to rip off customers. They charge reasonable prices and offer top notch technical expertise.
BOTTOM LINE
Their recommendations are based on what would be best suited for the customer, not for the best interest of making $$$.
I tell Sander to charge more. His prices are too low. I tend to pay more than the bill because I feel like i'm ripping HIM off.

You're probably his biggest customer so you shouldn't really feel bad for paying less. IMO he should be just charging more for 1 time customers instead of raising his prices to everyone regardless of history with him..but then again maybe he already does that.

the cam is an INSTALLATION issue that i still haven't get my lazy A$$ around to goto one of their authorized shop to get it checked out... and i bet it WILL shows results once i get it fixed and put it on a Dyno
RENNTECH dun have their own line of shocks they used KONI yellows
what Barbus say is right is $$ diff but i mean besides that i dun see any problems with KONI (ie rebounce rating etc)
but BESIDES this TWS IS INDEED a good and low cost shop to goto no doubt :D :P :o

less than a week since i first called, i have my rim sitting in front of me. good prices, better service.. tell you the truth i wouldn't mind spending an extra dollar for better service.
TWS would be even better if Sander had more help. I feel bad for him; everyday is like hell for him heh. I cringe at the thought of the amount of BS he goes through on a daily basis from 10am to "whenever the last customer leaves, thats when we close"
