...and it was a LOT of fun! Nice to see a bunch of new faces as well as forum regulars. The turnout was smaller than the first AF, BUT the caliber of cars was incredible.

My personal faves:

MoFlo's E63...good golly!
Jeff's uber C43....which was quite literally a show stopper!

And of course a particular canary yellow W124...

But there were sooo many more nice cars. I'm sure the pics will start trickling in soon. I think everyone is either on the road home, or getting smashed at the local pubs.

So, for those that showed, thank you for the support! And for everyone who wanted to go but couldn't, hopefully the pictures from today will entice you to make it next time.....AFIII?

Until then!

Run.EXE (scott) has a bunch of pics on his forum. I wasn't able to take any pics this year due to misc activities, but I hope others will post up pics soon.

Brabus has the list of who won, so i'm sure he'll post up too.

And Kuhl, I just wanted to give you mad props for this years trophy design. Quite frankly they were the COOLEST and most original trophies!!! Thank you! :o

Scott's pics can be seen here: http://www.500ecstasy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=858

Although it seems people are already hitting that thread as his server is getting slammed. I know he was all over the place so expect to see some great shots there :)

Shanta's car was definitely on another level. The paint was already something special as you don't see that every day. And had I not asked what she did, my lame-ass wouldn't have understood what she did aside from the wheels. The integration o fthe Wald kit was smooooth :o

And for interior, that designo as well as entertainment was definitely icing on the cake :)

I am glad to have made the trip from Sacramento to attend. Lots of nice cars and I really enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing info about the cars.

Renn208 cooked some some killer hamburgers and other food.

Kuhl Carbon your trophies you made are top notch.

I look forward to the next event!! :)
