Darn it, been looking for a way out.
I have a Nav system in my car (NavSys 900 DVD system from Pioneer), which also happens to be the head unit (PCH 6400CD). I don't have a cassette deck, so I can't use one of those tape adapters either.
Plus, Pioneer does not make MP3 changers, so that rules out a second accessory of the head unit controller.
I don't to have to deal with the nasty FM-type universal player, heard a lot of complaints.
Any way out?
Thanks, guys.

I'm sure there's a way to connect a phatbox to your system. Check out: http://ssiamerica.com/Merchant2/merchant.m...tegory_Code=CMP (http://ssiamerica.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=MTE&Category_Code=CMP)

120gb baby!!! :D

I'd do this if i didn't already have the mp3 changer and hu.

I don't have that in my car but I saw someone getting it installed today and he seem to be happy with it.

Thanks, people! OK I am thinking of going for the I-Pod thing (20 Gb not more...).

1. First off - what extra cable would I need to make Aux 2 input (Aux 1 being the CD Changer, correct?) feed in to the I-Pod?
2. How much do you think the darn cable would cost?
3. Any thoughts on installation costs?

Thanks again, guys!

unless you have only optical inputs (which I highly doubt) you will need:

1 Headphone to dual left right rca adaptor $4 at radio shack.

1 RCA cable, preferably insulated such as monster cable. $5-$30 depending on length and insulation. Length depends on where you wish to place the unit, if it is next to you, 3 feet should be fine, if you want it in the trunk, I would do 15 feet just in case.

Of course, a much more elegant solution for the same price would be to incorporate a VIA eden EPIA mini-computer into the trunk. Wire it through your video monitor and there are many many different interfaces you can use. This will of course also let you play games and the like if you so wish and will offer you much more storage considering a 20 gig ipod sells for a good $450.

Badinfo (change your name if you want to sound believable, LOL):
Thanks for the info :D
Now there is nobody in Houston that can do this :-(
I went to their website but could not find any source supplying such stuff in Houston. Any thoughts/ideas?
Thanks.
