I would like to completely makeover all of the wood in my red car. I want to go to carbon fiber, but I dont know how...I know I could haev Thomas Queen Laminate it, but my question is this:

How hard is it to get every wood piece out of a W124 coupe?( Including the wood trim on the dashboard/glovebox...)

Also, where do I get the carbon fiber???

Lastly, what kind of shop could do the carbon fiber on the trim for me????

Any Pics?????

How long would it take???

Could someone laminate my hood in CF???????

Thanks in advance!!!

It's easy to remove! Took me 5 minutes to take everything off my dash. The doors, I didn't remove. Basically pieces that are screwed on is easy. The others, I dont know how to. Ask Scott.

Thomas will do your lamination, no problem. How long? I guess it takes quite a bit since it's a one man show from what I gathered.

He has the fibers. I'd say do yours red!!

Also, think about milliing down the wood, so that when laminated the thickness of the panels will be near stock, as to not get a "stick on" look. If you don't mill it, it'll had 'height' and thickness to the wood, which may be unwanted.

That's all. Now gimme a brumos sticker.

If you want it done right, do it with Thomas, since he is the only known reliable source.

I too contacted him to have mine done (Engine Parts Only) and he told me that it could take up to months since he is way booked up. Even my dash guy here in Houston said that the process is not easy all.
