Anyone get this issue yet? It's actually well writen...something I can't say of American car magazines very often.

S600 won by a big margin, and 0 - 60 time of 4.3. :eek: Gotta love it. 760 was pretty fast too, 0 - 60 in 5.1.

I didn't know that MB dropped the cylinder shut off when they switched from the N/A V12 to the TT.

The CL65 (6L TT V12) will be an absolute MONSTER! :D
It replaces the CL55 F1 as my dream car :P

wow even though 0-60 dosent mean anything thats amazing that it can be low 4's for such a big car.

I was aware that it was available in the NA V12... but I suppose there will be problems using it with a forced-induction model.

Btw, Automobile Mag tested the S600 biturbo vs 760il a couple of months ago. Same conclusion.. MB was actually the sportier one.

i agree...it's probably one of the best writen car and driven articles...and yes...the S600 regulates everything! :D c/d says it hits 0-60 faster than a Ferrari 575M :eek: :D ...and 1/4 mile of 12.5 seconds...wow...*NEED* a black on black S600! :D

One of our local mags also did the same test. They like the BM for its toys, but the MB for its no-nonsense appeal.
Oh, and the fact that from any speed, it murders the BM. :D

Whats even crazier is if you flip forward in the mag, and compare the 1/4 mile times of the s600 and the lambo... thats crazy. According to their tests the s600 is a 10th of a sec faster. Awesome.

Treynor from MBworld.org had his S600 tested and published in the magazine a few weeks ago, and he's got enough shit done to is car.

SUpposed to be published in October I think. Those will be some sick numbers.

BM (Bee M) sounds better imo, compared to beemer.
