Two 2 Kill Stories! (not Really)

So yesterday on the way home, I was actually going the speed limit :o . I know! Anyways I was in the middle lane of I-80, heading home. Then I see this noce looking S-Class meger into the Interstate from Harlem, :D , Not to worried that he can play ball with me. So I hit the hammer, and away I go, then as traffic come up I slow down, no S-class, :blink: , then out of no where he on my ass, but like 2-3 cars space, so not ridding it. So i take of again, and away we both go, I won't say the speeds, becuase I know you guys will give me shit, but both cars were going 100+, Before you know it, he starts pulling on me and I'm like WTF, finally after he passes me , I realize what I was going up against; S55 AMG, B) , I gave the guy a tumbs, up but he had limo tints, so not sure if he saw me.

This next one was more like jerking around. I was heading to work this morning and saw this Pontiac GTP, coming up. So, I'm like this could be fun, before you know it we both hit it, neck and neck for some time (it felt like it) before he starts to pull on me. I turn into work and so does this guy. I'm like I know this dude, I talked to him, said " I have a few things done to it", didn't say what. :angry: , I what to know, I'm going to ride him until he tells me.

*Ps, who wants to loan me 11G's so I can buy a HPS supercharger? :banana:

actually, i'm pretty sure any of the W220 S-class cars will hand you your ass on the freeway. hard to beat that big 8 up top. nice kill nonetheless.

Hey AintMe, I have Q? how do you think all those W220 will hand me my ass all the time-I know I would beat an S320, or shoule i saw have beaten an S320, since my car has the same engine and half the weight of a W220? The power to weight ratio for an S430 has to be less or around mine. Yes, the 500 and 600 should be a good fight. Again, not trying to start a fight, just wondering how you figured this out.

no prob. i've never seen a W220 w/ the V6 stateside. so, yes, i'll give you that if you happen to see one. I speak from experience driving the cars. The 320s seem to run out of steam on the high end. in a stop light race, you have the advantage w/ power to weight. on the freeway, it becomes less of an issue. None of the S-classes are really geared for street drags. it's darn near impossible to get the 01-02 NA S55s to peel out by stomping on the gas. believe me, i tried. however, get on the freeway, which better suits their gearing, and them V8s, even the 430s, have long legs.

Norht America doesn't have a W220 S320, just the 430, 500, 600 and 55's

A 430 WILL hand you your ass on the highway. Pops has one and I drive it often. Much more torque, better gearing, strong V8 designed for high speed....the entry level C, even with the V6 is no match until the 32, as if MB would let it out run their flagship sedan....
