American Idol vs Australia Idol

So I went to the Sydney auditions for Australian Idol today. A friend of ours was trying out and we were there to support her.
During the day, they told us that some 15,000 Americans tried out for the American Idol and that Australia has had 12,000 people enter! :eek:
That really amazed me! Personally, I don't really like the Australian music, Kylie and a few other excepted.
I wonder who will be the winner.....

Whoa, thats a lot of people, Canada also has Canadian Idol too i saw on some show couple nights ago. Looks interesting, they have their own Simon, Paula, and Randy.

South Africa is starting its second run of Idols shortly... the first winner, Heinz Winckler, lives in Stellenbosch. :cool:
I've seen him zip around in his MR-2 (that he won) a few times already.

BTW, what would the chances of, say, a C280 vs. an MR2 be? :P

C280 wins :P I drove both (both are owned by VodkaG btw) and while both cars are slow as hell, the C280 seems quicker. But then again the mr2 is fun :)

Coming back from Cape Town yesterday, I overtook 4 cars and 2 trucks, starting from 90km/h.
By the time I was back in my lane, I was doing 190km/h. :confused: Slow? :confused:

hahah not a regular C280 such as yours, but Vodka G's :P He did some RENNtech mod, but it's made the car slower ;)

Then again I drive an E320 so there's more speed there :D

It's different to Pop Star as the Idol's will be performing in live concerts, then winners will be selected. Pop Stars didn't do that, they were all judged, one was picked, a song/album was made.
