i've used it many times and as long as you use it on just dust (not dirt!!) and don't rub it hard into the paint you should be fine.

works pretty well; doesn't scratch anything for me

but like 430 says, don't use it when your car is dirty

I've used it for a few years...works great, esp for a black car, where dust starts collecting as soon as you wash it. :) It definitely gets better as you use it...in the beginning it tends to leave a few wax streaks behind...but like the other guys have said, don't use it when your car is dirty...

I use mine almost every day (New Orleans has a strange high dust content). Is the best $20 I've ever spent on my car. I've had the same one for about 4 years now.

Look at that clown in PIC using Cali Duster. His car looks kinda clean so I guess it works ok if you use it correctly. :D

I used to use it on my mazda, but then I stopped b/c it made more of a mess than anything.

Then I saw that fool do it on this black car, and I saw how he did it, barely allowing the tip to touch the car.

So recently, I tried that method, and it works! I use it all the time now! :D

Too risky for me, if youre careful go ahead. I wash my car 3 times a week and am up in the northwest (not dusty Cali) so dust never collects.

I have one too. I used it on my black SUV and it worked great. It really picks up the dust. A nice way to sort of keep your car clean everyday. As long as you just have the bristles glide over the surface, it shouldn't scratch anything. Just don't have it sit on your paint and move it around.
