Allowing non-members to browse through other forums such as Zucchini Zoo and Autotalk and Motorsports? As without joining up as a member, you would never know about the existence of such forums that this great community also offers. If non-members can also gain access to these parts of the forum, I think it will provide them with more incentives to join and possibly participate in the discussions. The Zucchini Zoo is always a great place for non-members to feel part of the community before joining up, and it is also a great place for new members to 'break the ice' once they get started.

Another suggestion is to include an optional display of user's location beneath the avatar liken to what we used to have in the original benzsport. As I think it is always interesting to see which part of the world other fellow posters are from. This will also help to add a diverse feel to the community as well as allowing members from the same area to assimilate themselves.

If we opened it up again, we would never have any members register... The point is to encourage membership through gaining some valuable insight and providing a contribution to the community. You can't do that as a lurker.

But for people who want to read the purely technical info, they can do that in the Car section without needing the register...

No worries, thanks for the reply. But is it possible to make non-members more aware about these other forums Bnzsport has on offer to give them more incentives to join up?

And user location would be nice once again ;)
