I'm trying to sell my car and I was wondering what would be the best car, a 300ce ,w124 e320 or a 202 ?
Include style, performance, reliabity and value which would rate the best?

i say get a w202 if you wanna mod with ease...since parts are readlily available...also the car is more technologically advanced so go with a 202! :)

I disagree, there is a fair amount of modding that can be done to a W124 and the W124 is a much more soild, quieter and rattle free than a W202 of the same era or price range.

W124 E320 for the better engine, and the best Benz ever :)
My next mb will definetly be a 94-95 E420 :) Something about the w124's that I like :D The 202 is to small for me but has hella parts.

Yes and yes!
I drove around in my 300CD for 1.5 yrs, and in between I drove a 202 (C220.. but.. still), a 203, a BMW E46, etc.
I must say I really love the way the W124 drives and I still don't regret it. It's so comfortable, elegant, clean and simple, and feels so solid! It doesnt stand out like the diesel though :P
The BMW E46 is nice but it's harsh in comparison but im sure handles better.
The 202 rides about the same but feels nowhere near as solid or smooth (thanks to that I-4 engine). Realistically though I think the W202 is a better buy (newer and is a more sophisticated design)
but.. I like the way the 124 looks more than the 202.
that AMG'd out 300CE looks good. However, I would go for a 1995 E320 Coupe just because it's the last model year for the W124.

The newer the better. w124 has mods available but then the 202 has more. The 124 however, is much more solid.

mmm white is modded, but you have to check condition...
Black one is updated, but that may mean accident.
If I were you I'd look for as new of one I could find, but in great condition, they will pull a premium over one that is in not as good condition.

W202 may be better investment bacause there is only one more model line after W202 C class (new ones 2003 models)
but there are 2 model lines after W124 (W210 models and the new 2003 E class)
In my opinion, W124 models are more solid than W202. W124 are like a rock.
I say if you find a nice e320 or e420 don't miss it.

Easy decision: get the W124 (300CE). My new to me 1988 has 70k miles on it and drives/rides better than some new (<5 years old) cars I've driven/ridden in. I don't think it's an exaggeration to call it the finest highway cruiser ever built.
