911 Turbo (modded) Vs. Gallardo

my dad has a friend who has a 911 turbo (modded to be about 530hp) and a Gallardo. he invited me over to his house so that we could do a little driving. i took his porshe, and he drove his gallardo. we were driving on some side roads for awhile, then decided to take the cars out to the highway. this highway that we went to begins in our town. so we got onto the highway and came to full stop. we both floor it. right away, the porshce gets the lead and just keeps pulling away. i think the gallardo had a hard time getting off the line just because it's all wheel drive. at about 120mph, there's a good two or three car lengths between the cars. at this point, i just shut down and he flies by me.

what an awesome way to begin my thanksgiving.

I wouldve taken the Gallardo if it was my choice...then instead of racing...id jack it and hit up the nearest college campus...LOL... :P pimp that shiet... :P :banana:

[edit] be careful when you're racing these exotics...

i was recently talking to former BNZSport member Eurorides (remember him? hehe)...and he got his license suspended for a year doing 140 mph in is dad's friend's Porsche GT2... :o :P :ph34r:

If I'm not mistaken, but aren't both cars AWD? Either way, awesome to even see two super cars going at it. I would take the Lambo over the 911 though. Next time post a video!!

i was pretty scared about cops since it was thanksgiving and at the end of the month.

Yes, both are AWD.

The Gallardo sounds like it would have been more fun to drive, but awesome none the less!

I got a ticket doing 155 on a 50 :o in my M5, needless to say, the jewish man took care of it, ended up getting it dropped, no points :D I've gotten tickets doing twice the speed limit a couple times. :ph34r:

he also has a 2000 S55, a ducati (don't know which one), landcruiser, range rover (the one in the pic actually belongs to my family) and jaguar x type.
