Driving back from a friend's house with a friend in the car and the car dies at a busy intersection. Grrrr... tried to restart, but didn't. Fuel pump on my 88 300sel died. Towed it home.. my mechanic came to see it and said what i thought and towed it to his place. He wants $320 for a new bosch fuel pump and fuel filter installed. Good deal? Never been stranded till now.:(
