Here it is on a nice day in Boston (looks like it's gonna rain again tomorrow for another week though...)

since this is a mods site...

my plan:

burlwood/leather steering wheel
burlwood/leather shift knob w/ MB logo
illuminated door sills
avantgarde grille (maybe)

maybe...

Evo II rims (17x7) and 215/45/17ZR Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Euro headlights (glass lens is more attractive)

no lowering for me sorry but I like the comfortable ride + roads in Boston are sooo bad.

yeah I'm thinking of tinting the windows. But right now I have so many things I wanna buy for the car that I can't make up my mind on which one i should go for first.

I think I want to replace the shift knob first (easy and cheap) :P

I'm seriously considering the Evo II wheels and I'm still looking around Ebay for the grille.

Get the adapter conversion for the shifter. That way you have more choices for the shift knob, you can use newer shift knobs and you can change it easily the next time.

First thing you may want to highly consider is an extended warranty. This is no joke. I love the hell out of my E420, but the repairs are astronomical.

YTD, the warranty has covered over $11,000 dollars.

Just this week alone the car had the computer replaced, power steering pump rebuilt, and other minor things. I ended up claiming $3,020.00 to the warranty company. My deductable is $50.00 per claim, but I am thankful for buying it.

How much is the warranty? Would the cover a 119k miles car?

The selling dealer gave a 3-month bumper-2-bumper warranty but after that I'm gonna get an extended warranty for sure.

Doc, I paid $2,250 for my 4 year/48K miles warranty. It has paid for it's self 3 times over already. My car had 42K on the clock when I bought it from the stealership.
