I think it's pretty dope. Kudos for Volvo for their efforts to start making some exciting cars. The T5 series was cool, and now they step up with even more power in nicer bodies.
These Volvos are definitely on the "list" now :)

Do you mean the S60R??
Because there is the S80 T6 that has 268 hp for 46 g's and the S80 2.9 for 41 g's and that has 194 hp
I drove this car and was not impressed.. at least in its stock form.... all over the damn road...found the car way to ford like...
that is my $.02 cdn

Clown, Smith Volvo has it. I sat in it. It's pretty nice, but then again it's gonna be a car that is wayyyyy underrated. No pimp factor at all.

If you compare the new S60R to the Volvo 850, you can see what ford's done

The two others in the driveway are a 2002 S80 and a 1998 V70
Mine has 500 000+km (the counter stopped long ago)
The V70 has 190 000km
and the S80 63 000km
They are very reliable and comfy cars, they just don't have the "brand name" that Mercedes or BMW have.

On last months European Car Mag. It featured a tuned Volvo that does 11.3 seconds in the quarter mile.

I'm inches away from trading my 4matic in for that. I was looking at the G35 SC, but the awd and 20 more horses is more my style.
