Mittelkonsole für Klima in US W201?

Perhaps this is a good question for Steve or Sven, but is the US spec wiring harness for the middle console in the W201 different from the Euro version? I've been thinking about getting the euro middle console with the rotary dials instead of the US buttons/wheel. The pic below is just the shell, I would be getting the full console with the switches and dials.

must be hard to do that...
I was those on non A/C cars in Europe.
not sure they will fit to our cars.

a definite NOT possible...unless you swap the hole heater housing as well...

Thanks Steve, for an aesthetic upgrade, replacing the whole hvac section would not be justified without a readily available donor car. Thanks again.
