So im on my way to school and i see this 1.8T with 17s possibly fliks, and some black altezas..i was behind him and after he saw my car he wanted to play, i really was not in the mood, since i was running late to school. the guy kept inching on me every time i came close to him, i figured he possibly has a chip a basic mod everybody has so its really pointless to race him.then i ended up going form 285W on to I75N and he turns again in front of me, there was a car in front of him and two lanes to the right, he goes in to the first right lane to go around the car and he flores it, im runnig 3 car lenghts behind him, and i let her rip in mere seconds im on his ass, then i take the far right lane and over take him, and i get a glance at the person who so anciously wanted to race me and all i saw was a big suprised stare.as i passed him by one, two, three car lenghts and then i stepped off at 110. (which was also the fastest i went with the jetta so far) After that he just stayed behind me and did not feel like passing..

classic.. its like a Geo Metro trying to race a Daewoo...simply classic. all the way to 38.5 MPH to see who blows a gasket first.

LMAO, I love it when they do that! :D

In other news, I tried to race a 911 (996) yesterday in traffic, but I got stuck behind a couple of soccer moms :(

I dont know aobut this story.. I have a 2000 C230 Kompressor and a 2000 Jetta 1.8t which is only the 150HP version.. it hangs pretty well from a roll 40-60 and on the freeway my C230k is only a tiny bit faster.

I would think my C230k with 185hp and 200lbs of tq, err whatever it has..vs a 150HP jetta I would own it.. but.. nope.. my gurl was driving the vw too. we still have not raced at a stop..

mushedroom haha.. you are so right.. I used to loose to integras off the line..but on the freeways 80mph - 130mph I would always win! I dont think the tiny 1.8 liter motor is a good match in a 4dr sedan..
