Recently I've been picking fights in traffic with one of our Toyota salesguys. Actually, he started it when he flew past me on the way to work in a 2005 RunX (Corolla Hatch) 180i RSi. That's the little pocket rocket with the 8000rpm VVT-i engine and 141kW (about 190bhp).
We have to drive around a few blocks in an industrial area to get to the dealership (my office is above Toyota) and there's a little "straight" before we get to the entrance. I followed him around the last corner, and he took off. I floored Mrs.J and she kicked into first gear. The RSi opened about 3 carlengths but couldn't get away after that. We shut down just before 100km/h (60mph).
Toyota man was impressed, but gloating nicely.

The very next day he's behind me again, but this time he couldn't get past in an '05 Camry V6 Auto (155kW?). Same corner, same story. I bury the accellerator and Mrs.J takes off in first. This time the Camry lost a few carlengths and couldn't close them.

And for the first time ever someone asked me... "Your car isn't stock, is it?!?" :lol:

I'm so proud. :P She's bone stock.

So who else has raced their colleagues?

Cool! Some of our installers at the shop drive 'sporty' cars. One has a 13sec turbo'd Integra GSR, another with a 12 sec. SRT-4... I smoked both with the R170 simply because neither has good rubbers for street racing! :D

What's funny is I always got killed by one of our sale guys who drives a 12000 LBS Ford Powerstroke 7.3L w/ 40lbs of GT48 turbo and propane shot. I should post the video file -- burn out on all 4 wheels! :D

just lsat night i raced my fine female colleague. She always brags how she races with her integra rs and wins so i figured i might give her a taste...after i smoked her she was like what is that noise coming from the car..im like its my turbo, she goes "F U",..lol

not really, im tight with all my co workers..especially her since we liked each other but never got together due to some circumstances..
