Posche (996) 4s Wants To Play....

I was on my way home on the M5 about to pay my toll when I see a 4S up ahead in traffic..... I put the car into POWER turn off T/C and wait :D
We both go through the toll centre and hit it! :banana:
He gets a jump on me, but gets trapped by two cars....... I swing out into the far left lane (which is ending :P) and I get ahead of him and the two cars blocking him. He is NOT happy at all! :ph34r:
He backs off and tries to catch me but by then it's too late! :D He tried to take me on, but he wasn't smart enough to get around the traffic :rolleyes: I'll keep an eye out for him next time :bunny:

It's the car.... honestly! :P I don't know man, I guess I see a fast car (Porsche, Bentley GT) see who is driving it and then egg them on :D

As for the slower cars, they all pick on me <_< , so, I run them for the heck of it :bunny:

Mr J: This is the fourth Porsche I've raced. I'd beaten a couple of Boxsters (man, the look on their faces was priceless) and I've hung with a (996) 911 'vert upto 200km/h....... then we both backed off :D :P

I don't think it's a lame win... if the guy isn't skilled enough to get around some traffic, then he sucks as a driver!

This was a reply to Brabus's comment. Actually I was going to comment that if the other driver didn't feel comfortable dodging traffic to play, I don't consider that a bad driver. I think a driver who is driving recklessly in order to play a game of road racing is the one to fault as it endangers the people around them. For me, I really hate it when reckless drivers cut me off or pass by in such a way they don't have an regard for innocent drivers around them. If it's an open road, I can care less if they race. It sounded like the Porsche driver needed to play traffic chess to catch up to you, and it appears he chose not to. I think he was a good driver to be considerate to the people around him. That's all :)

I feel the same way, I always see dumb@ss cut people off left and right in 25 mph traffic on the freeway to save only a few seconds, b/c In the end, i still end up right next to them. What a bucnh of Dumb @ss. I too am always up for a Spirited run, but only if its safe have i won't have to use my brakes and cut people off.

Kam, you make a good point. There was still room for him to join me, but I guess he was just playing it safe (a little too safe imo). But, it was HIS decision after all.
