Last night I was on my way home at about 2am and this guy pulls up next to me at a set of lights. He is driving a 90's model Ford Laser Turbo with a fart can exhaust, big wheels, slammed, etc.
He was revving his engine and took off from the lights like a bat out of hell. Although his car was quick, I didn't really want to race because I didn't see the point :P
At the next lights he does the same thing, I take off after him, but this time I've got the car in first and I give it a bit. He sees me coming up behind and hits it again...... we snag another red light.
Third set of lights he looks over at me with a smirk on his face. Light goes green and I annialte him! :D The fool must have that my HSV was 'replicashun', guess he found out the hard way! :P

Is someone keeping count of Ozzie's kills? :P
We also got Ford Lasers, but no Turbo's. It's a little hatchback effort, right?

Oh, and one more question. Aren't there any 911 Turbo's, SL55's or McLaren F1's in Sydney? ;)

Yeah, the Laser is a hatchback :)

Funny you should mention SL55's because earlier that evening one joined the freeway right in front of me!!!! But this SL55 owner was just cruising along. I got up next to it to hear the exhausts........... drool factor HIGH! :D

I don't think there are many McLaren F1's in Aus......... there was one that was wrapped around a light pole though  There are quite a few 996 Turbos around, but, no races............. yet :P

I should actually start a new thread, but I'm too embarassed. :P
Yesterday a little Mazda Midge (basically the same effort as a Tracer) was slipstreaming me on the highway at 120km/h. Dropped, scoop, wings everywhere, etc.
So I put my foot down, and to my horror he stuck to me right up to 180km/h when I lifted off. Respeeeeeect! :D
He also followed me down an offramp, but came to a smoking halt next to the road. Something had caught fire under his bonnet. :P

As for McLaren F1's, apparently there is one in Johannesburg. And XP1 (the first prototype) burnt out in the Namib desert (in my home country, Namibia) during hot weather testing. :(
My Dad saw the wreck at the local MB workshop in Windhoek when he was returning a Becker radio.

LOL, the poor Mazda couldn't take it :P

As for the McL F1 catching fire and ending up in a BENZ workshop :o I don't suppose it started it's journey from said shop? If so, maybe a Benz fanatic 'tinkered' with it! :o :P

man...i feel u i hate it when u dont want 2 waste ur time and gas racing some1 but they just wont give up....the other day this freakin prelude was coming up quick behind me so i changed lanes, and when he got next to me he slowed 2 my speed, so i slow down so does he, speed up same thing....we hit like 2 reds and he boned out like crazy at both then slowed down and waited up, so finally at the third i owned him, probably about 2 car lengths after 2 and a half gears....slowed down, then he speeds up and turns on his victories.....so at the next light i owned him again, but kept going and going until he was like 6 car lengths back and turned on mine, he stopped messing w/me after that
