E430 Vs. A6 3.0....sorry Son...but Ya Had Ta Get S

last friday i was rollin down from laurel canyon into west hollywood, i had this 2004 A6 on my ass the whole time....
now i understand that he's mister quattro but c'mon now...the roads have all be coated with mud from the recent storms and mudslides through that particular canyon/hill street....

Needless to say…prick central…
The guy won’t let up
Totally weaving into the oncoming traffic’s lane trying to push me to speed down this slippery hill….well to be honest, I’m rolling on almost bald front tires and 1/8 tread rear tires and on stock shocks and springs so I’m in no real position to do any kind of slalom runs…I know I know I’ll get them upgraded but all in due course…I don’t have a money tree….YET!!!

So coming down the hill, the single road opens up into 2 lanes…
There’s a slow car in front of me so I switch lanes, before retardo behind me even gets the idea of doing so…

Now A6 boy is stuck again behind me and another car….
Again he’s being a prick-extraordinaire…ha…
So coming down to santa monica on crescent hts….there’s a 2 laner that quickly merges into 1….i’m in the left lane he’s in the right lane…
I look over and he’s totally mad dogging me the whole time…I just laugh…
Does he know he’s totally not matched properly with me in power?
I guess not cause the lights go green
And before anything happens I’m already 1 car length ahead of him forcing him to brake harshly behind the parked car and making him change lanes behind me, once again becoming my biatch… :lol: :P
Second light down the line…he’s on the right again…
Other light’s turning yellow and before our light is green he’s taking off…
Again
This time we’re neck and neck but only for a split second…cause a harder depression of the accelerator and poof…I’m ahead of this boy 1.5 - 2 car lengths…
Will this boy ever learn…
Again 3rd light he comes up
And this time he flips me off and turns right really recklessly like he’s trying to show what his car can do…but…sadly…I’ve already witnessed what his car can do…
I’m laughing to myself amused and totally jazzed about this fresh bloody murder of an A6, and not even paying attention to the Cadillac STS that’s behind me…black sedan and I’m thinking maybe same year 99 or maybe even 00 model…

Light after Beverly, he’s lined up with me right lane…I guess he was a spectator of the whole event and now wanted his opportunity to take the crown…

Now let me tell you all…I love A6’s and big caddys…I have a 66’ caddy myself…
And I almost bought an A6 before I bought my current baby….

With that said…
Light goes green…
And poof….my ass slams and sinks deep into the back of my driver’s seat…
And again…
Caddy is left behind…although he had a stronger position than the A6, I still left him behind, without going full blown accelerator…

GOSH I LOVE MY E430!!!

Wow... where to begin... I guess with A6... I had the distint displeasure of driving a 00 A6 quattro and here are my thoughts:

1. If Mike runs really quickly and drops the dohnut from his hand he will beat the A6.

2. Geo metro can serve the A6 something fierce!

3. If you didn't beat the A6 then I would have laughed really hard.

4. I am going to laugh really hard anyway.....

Ok on to STS...

With its 320@6400 hp and 312 tq, I am guessing that he wasn't really racing.

I like the E-class, but every car has to have its limitations.. next thing you know you will be telling us stories how you "wasted" an 04 Cobra off the line or a 300C ;)

New STS, btw will take on and beat the E500 W211.. see here:

nice, if you ever race a 740i, please post the results, I would really like to know the outcome. Nobody wants to race me in my 740i, its like they all think I have something special under the hood, when the reality is its all stock.

maybe it's cuz no one thinks people in flag-ship sedans wanna race...hehe

i know its hard to do so when i drive my dad's S500...i a Camero convertable (im guessin it was a v6 camero 'vert?) once...it was mad fun..i was in the lead all the way till i shut down at 80 mph (in the 50 mph zone) as i didnt wanna risk to get a ticket...but it's mad fun driving a the car...my friend and i've driven the car at appx. 120 mph and that bad boy was NOT tired for sure...:)

i test drove a 740il before i bought my car
was so in love

but my mechanic told me that bmw's were notoriously expensive to maintain...
and my friend who has a 525 and a 535 has always moaned and groaned about how much he has to pay whenever he takes in his car...

HA wait a few yrs and see if your 210 is any cheaper to get fixed :( IT sucks, but its worth it.

Nice kill! Even the new A6's are 0-62 in 7.2 sec I think.

Them things are slow :P. I tried to race a Ruf Porsche on the highway in my old E38 right after I came from court for speeding. 70-120mph I couldn't even catch the guy.

For the sake of 'board spirit' I removed all the anti-MB things in my sig :)
