Cheap ICE

I'm looking for some cheap ICE and I came across this selling in thr toronto area:

12" JL 12W0 subwoofer in a JL PowerEdge spec sealed box.
JVC KS-AX4700 250w RMS bridged, 560w Max

The d00d wants $350 CAD about $255 USD.

Is it worth it?

I'll be hooking it up to the stock stereo so i need some converter thingie i think.

BTW i mostly listen to rap/r&b but I listen to everything as well. Is a 12 uinche too much or should I stick with a 10?

i think it is......considering i just bought 2 JL 10W0's and a JL 250/1 for about $1500 cdn.....also.....does ur car have a bose system?

yeah..my car has the bose system but i think you can intergrate it in.

I think with something called a high low converter?

yes u can integrate it.....but does the amp you are gettin have a speaker level input .....if it does, you ill not need the hi to low convertor...

If this is going in your C36, your better off going with the 10's, the powerwedge box for 12's will most likely not fit. 10W3's fit perfect in my trunk w/ JL audio HO wedge box. The 12W3's in the Ho wedge box did not fit.

Yeah it's gonna go in my C36, but it's one 12 inche speaker not 2.

word of advice...make sure you know for sure that the stuff your getting is the real deal. i had a friend who thought he got a kick ass deal on a pioneer amp, but when he went to get it installed they told him it was a fake. just font want to see some of my fellow bnzsporters get clowned.

the price is pretty good. Make sure they are in good condition.
Couple things you can check:
1. the condition of the rubber/foam surround
2. how long has he had the system
3. what kind of music is he playing
4. How many times the amps goes to clipping mode
5. How loud does he usually plays his tunes
