So I decided to come to the office for some alone time with my files on a quiet Saturday and at this time of the morning the freeways here are near empty. I am tooling along on Hwy580 in the left lane going about 80mph...when I see behind me a red E46 M3 catching up...not too fast, just enough to catch my attention.
When it catches up to me the guy looks over and waves, obviously checking out the car, I look back and waive too, and he takes off... rather fast. I look around and see no other cars so I gun it after him...pretty soon both of us are caught up, going about 110mph, not really pushin git too hard, but the noise from my headers and intake is pretty loud now..
As we are driving together, this silver S2K decided to join us and starts pulling on the M3 from the left. The guy in the M3, clearly agitate over this challenge decided to break away and guns it again, I can hear his exhaust through my engine noise too, so I know he is working it... M3 takes off and I take off after it and then close 3rd S2000.
I started getting closer and to my surpsire actually started slowly...very slowly pulling away fromt he M3... the S2k was about a car length behind both of us, but put up a great fight.
Gosh those M3's are fast... anyway, good clean fun. We all waived to each other at the end and M3 and I took one exit leaving S2k alone.
At the exit we both stopped and chatted for a while, he asked if I had a HEMI in it... :D
