my friends mom was out of town so he said the 323i would rape me,.. so i said k. i dont know if it really would since the 16v is 13yrs older. the bmw is a 323i manual. anyway, at the line we were pretty much even, we did it a few times and we were even. then we went to a canyon which is private road so there wasn't relaly cars on it, we only saw one in it. Its 10 miles long, we did a run going up the canyon then a run going down the canyon. the 16v performed soooo well!!! killed the bmw in both runs, i lost the bmw and had to stop.

i'm impressed that your old school mb can outhandle a new bmw, but that's probably because your friend doesn't know how to drive.

dunno about that

i my ex- used to have a e36 325is...it handles pretty well......then she crashed it and we got the e46 325i 4 door (non sport) which was alrite...but i think the e36 handles a bit better

i did say it also depends on the condition on the suspension components
