Yeah Yeah, I know this is a car forum. But recently I discovered how to airbrush makeup like the pros via photoshop. So here it goes...
One of the items which can give the face the most deffinition is eyeshadow and liner. The key to doing any makeup is to do each on an individual layer then adjust the opacity. So for the shadow, I chose black. Take the poly lasso tool and up in the tool bar, feather to about 3 px. Then outline the area you wish to apply. Brush it black and reduce the opacity to about 20-30 percent. eye liner can be applied the same way, but with a 1px brush. Be sure to lower the opacity.
Next apply a foundation, whatever you want to call it. This can be done with the blur tool. you can smooth out the skin and remove any blemishes. I ususally the do the high cheek bones and chin area. Next you can apply blush using a pink matched to the lipstickl color. Again, feather your selection and reduce the opacity.
Here is my before and after pics... Even though this will probably help nobody except for photogs, its a neat trick and you can literally make anyone look hot (ie how do you think they made Ms Spears pretty).

You should do more of a step by step with screen captures along the way. I'm sure more members here who read pictures (like me) might be able to follow this alot better. :)

First off, you'll want to give her some sexy eyes! Ok so she already has eye liner on, but no eye shadow. To add some, outline her eye with the polygonal lasso tool. Be sure to feather it 2px. Then duplicate your background layer and select the gradient tool (g). Make sure its going from fill to transparent. Then drag it starting from the eye up towards the end of your selection. Zoom out and see what it looks like.

Now I've noticed a horrible unibrow in the works. So lets fix it! Make a selection around the end of the brow (where she should have plucked it!). Do not feather this selection. Then with the stamp tool (S) pick an area to clone with the ALT key. Make sure to use the same colors from your cloned sample. Then touch up her eyebrow.

Now we need to smooth out her skin. The easiest way to do this is with the blur tool, unless your image has a huge mole or similiar. then you'll want the clone tool. Refer to the settings in the following image.

Now to get rid of her yellow snarlers. Select the teeth area minus the gums. Feather your selection by 2px. Then go into image, adjust Hue and Saturation. Lower the saturation (will take out the yellow). Then go to image, adjust brightness and contrast. up the brightness a tad.

Last but not least, we'll give her a bit of blush. Do this creating a new layer and by selecting a pink, or if you want a more sultry look, a dark red color. with the poly lasso tool, highlight her cheek bones, and highlighted areas. feather your selection about 4 px. go to edit-fill then adjust the opacity on the layer window to about 25 %.

Ok now step back and look at her~! This is just one example, a very simple one at that. i'll try some more complicated and radical approach later... perhaps we'll get crazy and try some green eyeshadow and lipstick
